Madison River, Montana

05/23/09 Time - 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Clayton - 1 Rainbow, 1 Brown - PMS, Black Stone Fly
John - 1 Rainbow - Black Stone Fly

Notes - Fishing seemed to pick up for other people around 6-7 PM. Water was muddy and high. All fish caught in slower currents next to small pools by shore. Fished the area both east and west of the first bridge you reach when you hit the Madison. Heard a lot of people on the walkie talkies saying that they were having luck with pink San Juan worms but I was unable to reproduce that luck.
